Therapon™

“Therapon” is the noun form of the Greek word therapeuo. “Therapist” and “therapeutic” are derived from this word. Therapeuo is translated “healed” and “cured” in the Bible. It is used in the Gospels to describe the miracles of Christ. It literally means “to assist in healing.”

The noun form of this Greek word refers to the person who assists in healing. The word is translated “servant” in Hebrews 3:5. It is a reference to Moses’ part in the deliverance of Israel from bondage. God was the One Who delivered his people, but Moses was the “therapon”…the one who assisted as a human instrument.
